Kayla Mekler
Kayla has been writing for as long as she can remember, but the true story telling began in elementary school. She started by writing little songs and plays for her cousins to perform with her. That led to short stories, then 100,000+ word books.
As a little girl, she always dreamed of sharing her stories with the world, but none of her books ever felt “complete” enough. Near the end of her college years, Kayla decided that she had to give publishing a chance, thinking to herself, “If I never try, I’ll never know.”
So, The Infinites was born. Kayla has revealed that she has plans for two more trilogies after Asher and Amara’s story comes to an end. Beyond that, the opportunities that Valahema brings are endless. Kayla also wants everyone to know that her love for the written word is almost as strong as her love for cats. And apparently, that’s saying a lot.
